Sampling of favorite well-wishes

We're having a blast sharing our good news and a lot of fun getting some fun responses!

From the Andrews Family (fellow CU fans!)

That is great news!!!!  This will be a great adventure, and you will love it.  I am really excited for you to have a new house and baby, we did all of that last year and it was stressful at the time, but that quickly went away with a great feeling of settling down and stablity.  So if baby A is born in early Novenber, then everyone should be set for the last couple of Buffs games!

Thank you for letting us know, we are very excited and will keep you in our prayers.  I hope work is going well and you are adjusted to aprartment life, for now.

Please do keep us posted!  And just a heads up, if you have a boy...our friendship will have to end as Bristol is not allowed to talk to boys until she is 25.

From Aaron (Sarah's brother):

I'm excited to be an Uncle! Plus if you keep baby A in the womb for an extra week, he/she can have the coolest birthday EVER.

From Anna (Sarah's friend since age 3):

So much change and so many congratulations!  What wonderful news!  Mommy'hood' is such a change but also great.  Your little one is already so lucky to have you both as parents!  Please keep us updated and let me know if you want to borrow any maternity clothes.  I don't have a whole lot, mostly just the basics, but you are welcome to borrow them if you'd like.

I love that you are building a house and will be able to include a nursery in the plans.  :)

Can our kids go to nursery school together and grow up being life long friends?

I am so very excited for you!

From Sarah's coworkers at Denver Health: (good parenting advice...)

Thanksgiving pants!

Despite the fact that I'm not that noticeably pregnant, not many of my pants still fit.

Bring on the Thanksgiving pants!

The magic of modern technology!

Meet Baby A!

He/she is about 50% head, 50% body.

Compared to the first ultrasound, Baby A now looks much more like a baby and much less like a Sea Monkey!

Expanding waistline or big dinner? You decide!

Eventually I'm going to have to upgrade to a bigger black t-shirt, but this works for now!

Breaking the news!

We enjoyed brunch with both sets of grandparents-to-be on May 1st and told them the good news!

Of course we called Uncle Aaron and Aunt Jess to fill them in too!

 The proud parents-to-be!

 Grandpa Monty & Grandma Kathy

Grandma Debbie & Granddad Jeff

We have a feeling they're going to need more than 1 frame, but we had to start somewhere!

Welcome!

We decided that we would come up with a Countdown to Baby A blog so we can keep in touch with friends and family near and far during this exciting time!  Stay tuned for pictures and funny stories!
